GSCaddie V2: what changed
GSCaddie V2, the new look, is a redesign of GSCaddie's screens: bigger numbers, more on each screen, and replays of your shots and holes. Every home golfer and every facility member is now on it. Your account, shots and rounds are the same in both versions, and you can switch back to version 1 at any time (facility members stay on the new look).
Club data on every shot
If you play on a Uneekor or ProTee launch monitor, club numbers (club speed, path, face and the rest) come with every shot, instantly, without a Portal sync. More launch monitor support is coming soon.
Switch between the new look and version 1
- Open Settings from the menu under your name, go to Appearance and pick Version 1 or Version 2 under Layout. This is the only place to switch. Your choice is saved to your account, so it follows you to every device.
- In version 1, the same choice is under Account, Appearance.
- The new look always uses the Midnight theme. The theme you picked still applies in version 1.
- Facility members don't have this switch.

Live
- Every shot with launch data replays in 3D. In a round, the hole is laid out around where your shots landed.
- A shape line says how the ball moved, for example "Starts 5 yd left, curves 4 yd right, finishes 1 yd left".
- On the range, the club in your hand is shown against your usual for it, with where its shots finished.
- Club numbers (club speed, path, face and the rest) show on a shot that has them.
- A shot hit in a comparison carries a Comparison · Set 1 tag that opens Compare.

Shot Detail
- The shot replays with the hole's earlier shots, and you can show the round's other shots with the same club, such as its other drives.
- The view button (or a swipe on the replay) steps through Behind, Follow, Side and Top-down.

Overview
- A Biggest leak line at the top names where you lose the most. The strokes gained trend, Scoring rates and your records sit below it.
- On a computer your handicap chart sits inside the Handicap index card. On a phone it has its own Handicap over time card.
- On a computer your last round shows strokes gained by part: Tee, Approach and Around the green. On a phone held upright the card shows your score beside the course, then strokes gained, fairways and greens; tap it for the round's split. Recent sessions shows Tee, Approach and Green for each session.
- On a phone held upright, tap the Biggest leak line to open Insights, and What do these mean? is in the top bar.
- Scoring rates can compare you with another handicap, from yours plus 3 down to scratch. Your pick is not saved.
- Set a target handicap in Settings and the strokes gained trend measures you against it.

Rounds and round overview
- Sorted by date, rounds are grouped by month. Each row shows strokes gained: Total, Tee, Approach and Green.
- A round you left out can be counted again with Count again. A round you did not finish is marked Unfinished.
- Rounds imported from the GSPro Portal show one strokes gained number for the whole round, putting included, marked est.
- Hole replay: pick a hole and watch its shots play out on the course. Play hole runs them in order, or tap a shot to replay just that one, and you can watch from Behind or From above. You can turn the replay off with the switch by its title; that device remembers it.
- The scorecard runs across the page (on a phone, the front 9 and back 9 stack). Below it, your best and worst hole for each part of the game.

Range sessions
- Each club is compared with your usual for it: your full swings with that club in the 90 days before the session, once you have 15 of them from at least 2 sessions and 5 in this one.
- Where they finished plots every shot, and the shot list shows each shot's shape and finish.

Shots
- Select several shots at once to change their club, leave them out of stats, count them again or delete them.
- Shots you left out stay in the list, greyed, so you can bring them back.
- Each shot shows its shape and, in a round, its hole and shot number.

Clubs
- On All clubs, each club's last 10 carries are drawn against its average. On a computer each club also has a carry bar.
- One switch, Full swings or All shots, sets Clubs, Gapping and Club detail together. Full swings is the default, and that device remembers your pick.
- Gapping shows problems first (a gap to fill, two clubs in the wrong order, two clubs that go the same distance, a tight gap) and writes the gap between each pair of clubs.
- Compare lists every comparison you have made, and you can rename a comparison or any set in it. Shots opens a comparison's own shots.
- Resume reopens a past comparison and carries on its last set. It works in GSCaddie on your sim PC, with a range session open in GSPro.
- Folders group your comparisons. Open a folder to see every set in it side by side, by club.
- From 3 sets, tick the sets you want to compare. The last column can show Your average or This session.
- Club detail adds a carry histogram.

Insights
- Insights starts from one swing fault. When the ball flight points to a cause, the fault is named by that cause and marked measured or likely.
- It says why that one comes first, gives one drill with where you are now against the target, and a 20-shot check whose After count fills in when a drill session passes.
- Your next faults and all your swing patterns are below it.

Settings
- Account is now called Settings: one page with a section menu instead of tabs.
- Billing is now Plan, and Danger zone is now Your data.
- Target handicap for trends, under Golf settings, picks the handicap your strokes gained trends measure you against.
More in Settings.
Sharing
- The share sheet shows a preview in Wide, Square or Story and, once you publish, your link.
- You can now share a range session too.
- Share cards have a new look. A round card shows strokes gained by area and, from 5 rounds, your handicap line. Cards you already shared keep their old look.
Facility owners
- Your facility page has the new look, with Members, Business, Challenges, Admin and How it works tabs, and a setup checklist until your setup is done. On a computer, open it from Facility in the top menu. On any device, it is Facility admin in the menu under your name.
- On Challenges you set up a challenge for your members: closest to the pin, long drive in the fairway, best gross score, most fairways hit or bingo. Members' shots enter by themselves.
- Placards have a new design: one letter page per bay, in colour or black and white. Print all placards, on the Admin tab, prints every bay at once.
Facility members
- Every facility member moved to the new look at once. If you were already a member, the first time you open it a one-time "GSCaddie has been upgraded" page shows what is new.
