The tray menu
Right-click the GSCaddie icon in the Windows system tray (bottom-right, near the clock) to open this menu. Left-click or double-click the icon to open the GSCaddie window directly.
Menu items, top to bottom
Status line
The top item is a read-only status line showing GSCaddie's current state, for example "Watching for shots" or "Sign-in expired (click here to sign in again)". See the tray status messages article for the full list of what each message means.
When sign-in has expired, this item becomes clickable and opens the re-authentication flow.
Pause watching / Resume watching
Temporarily stops the watcher from processing shots. The label toggles between "Pause watching" and "Resume watching". Pausing does not uninstall anything; the tray icon stays in the system tray and shot capture resumes the moment you click again.
Open GSCaddie
Opens the GSCaddie dashboard window. The same thing happens when you left-click the tray icon.
GSPro Portal: checking... (status line)
A read-only item showing the current portal connection state. The text updates as the tray checks your portal cookie; it is not clickable.
Connect GSPro Portal...
Opens the GSPro Portal sign-in flow. Use this the first time you connect your portal account, or to reconnect after a session expires.
Sync recent rounds from portal
Triggers an immediate portal sync without waiting for the automatic post-round timer. The portal sync enriches your stored shots with club-delivery data (club path, attack angle, face-to-target) that the launch-monitor log does not contain.
Restart to apply update
Hidden until an update has been downloaded in the background. When it appears, clicking it closes the tray and relaunches into the new version. If this item is not visible, no pending update is ready.
Check for updates
Manually triggers an update check. GSCaddie also checks automatically every four hours and shortly after startup.
Start with Windows
Toggles whether GSCaddie launches when Windows starts. This is enabled by default on first install so shot capture starts whenever your sim PC boots. Toggle it off here if you prefer to start GSCaddie manually.

Shows the installed version and contact information.
Quit
Fully exits the tray app and stops shot capture. Your data in the cloud is not affected.
Notes
- Closing the GSCaddie window does not quit the app. The tray icon stays active and continues capturing shots. Use Quit in the menu to fully stop it.
- "Start with Windows" is grayed out in development builds where the install path is not the real installed location.
