Live

The Live screen streams your shots in real time as they come off the tray. When nothing is currently live, it steps aside and shows a compact summary of your last session (instead of a stale cockpit), with links to your rounds and shots.

When there is no round yet

If no rounds exist for your account, the screen shows an empty state with a prompt to start GSPro with the tray running. Shots will appear here as you hit them.

When nothing is live

If you have played before but nothing is streaming right now, the screen goes into a standby state: a status readout shows whether your sim PC is connected ("listening for shots" with a pulsing indicator, or a reconnect prompt if it is offline), and a Last session section summarizes your most recent play (date, course or practice, strokes) with quick links to open it in Rounds or see all your shots. As soon as a new round or range session starts, the first shot flips the screen straight back to the live view automatically, with no manual refresh.

Course round layout (3-column cockpit)

When you are in a scored round, the screen switches to a three-column cockpit that fills the viewport on desktop. The right side's shot feed scrolls independently.

Course strip (top)

Shows the course name and a player switcher if multiple players are in the round. You can tap a player to see their shots and metrics, or leave it on "All" for an interleaved view of everyone. Also shows the current hole number and par, plus a focus mode toggle.

Previous shot panel (left column)

Displays the most recently detected shot (or whichever shot you tapped in the feed to pin). Shows:

Club name
Carry and total distance
Strokes gained for this shot and which category it fell into (off tee, approach, around green, putting), plus pre-shot distance to the pin
Delta vs your average for that same club this round
Penalty note (OB or Penalty) if the shot triggered a penalty row

Clicking any row in the shot feed "pins" that shot here. A "Back to live" button returns to the latest shot. The pin resets automatically when a new shot lands.

Round status panel (center column)

Running round metrics for the selected player:

Score (total strokes and to-par)
SG total and per-category breakdown
Fairway hit percentage
GIR percentage
Putts

Also shows a "vs your average" baseline comparison (how this round compares to your prior rounds) and live coaching insights: shots or patterns that are working this session.

Shot feed rail (right column)

Chronological shot list, newest first. Each row shows club, carry, SG for the shot, and a player chip in multi-player rounds. Click a row to pin that shot in the left panel.

Round so far bar (bottom strip)

Aggregates across the round: SG by category, shape breakdown (hook/draw/straight/fade/slice percentages), and start-line lean (whether you are starting shots left, right, or on your aim line on average).

Mid-round numbers are provisional

To-par, strokes gained totals, and off-tee SG update shot by shot, but some values cannot be finalized until a hole is complete. SG for each shot depends on knowing the pre-shot distance to the pin and the outcome. Until a hole finishes, partial holes may produce provisional or slightly off numbers. This is expected behavior, not a bug. Scores persisted after the round are usually accurate.

Range session layout

Practice rounds (marked as range sessions by GSPro) show a single RangeSessionPanel instead of the three-column cockpit. It displays per-club carry averages, ball speed, and shot counts for the session so far.

Focus panel

If you have an active focus, a panel sits above the shot stats during a range session. It shows the drill steps for your current focus: how the drill works, the feel to aim for, and what to avoid. They stay visible throughout the session so you can reference them between swings.

Tap Begin Focus to start tracking your reps. Once tracking, the panel shows your live in-the-zone percentage: the share of this session's shots that have landed inside the good band for your focus metric, updated after every shot, against a 70% goal. Tap End session when you are done. Your result is saved and visible on the Focus card in Insights.

Phone landscape mode

On a phone held sideways (landscape, max height 500px), the screen switches to a compact single-screen layout designed for a phone propped up next to the hitting mat. It shows the essential shot and score data without the full cockpit.

Focus mode

When focus mode is active (toggle in the course strip), the header and course strip are hidden, leaving the cockpit layout as the full viewport. An "Exit focus" button in the top-right corner (or pressing Esc) returns to the normal layout.
